Karen you will truly be missed. She was a wonderful loving woman who always cared about everyone else. Karen was devoted to her children and her grandchildren. The thing I will miss most, is her laugh and the phase “Judas Priest”when she got frustrated. She had her own view about things. We have lots of loving and funny memories of her during the holidays and when the family got together. Karen would always be the one to make you laugh or start talking about things that no one else wanted to bring up or discuss, she could always get you going. She would also be the one who would come and comfort you when you were down and had words of wisdom to make you feel better. There were many nights that we all sat on our back porch and just discuss life. Karen loved to have debates on any topic. She loved a good conversation. While our hearts are heavy now, we know you will always be there to guide the way. Give Shane and my dad a hug for us. Love ya! Shellie and Linda.

As I read this with a heavy heart I remember past Christmas s that our families spent together. She was always good to me. Her laugh was like no other. I also remember that she could make some dynamite egg rolls. My prayers are with the Ackerman family.

Karen. My dear friend I will miss you dearly. I started working with you in 1991, at cedar Crest, seems so long ago, an loved every minute of it.. you helped me through alot of issues you had a nack for just saying the right thing that made me feel better, any time you were frustrated or something didnt go right you always said “Judas Priest”.. you got me started on that..you were a brides maid at my first wedding, I always called you on your birthday March 17, .. RIP dear friend.. love you

Wendy, Jimmy, Shelley and Michael , So very sorry for the lost of your Mother. I had the best time of my life with your family. To this day I still try and make the dumplings she made .Shelley and I would ask her to make them and she would say only if you peel the potatoes. I love you guys and pray for you all. I am so sorry that I will not be at the service I am out of town. Rest in Heaven Mrs. Ackerman.❤️
